Life Cycle Assessment is a growing industry. Growth for the US alone is predicted to be over 40% p.a. up until at least 2017. But it has its constraints which have kept sales lower than demand in the recent years, and hence the LCA adoption rates inadequate. These constraints are primarily three -
- High costs (SMEs can’t afford a good quality LCA)
- Dearth of data (the best and most of data represents EU)
- Lack of transparency (making results less credible and usable)
LinkCycle‘s innovative software overcomes each of these and more, providing the complete package that businesses demand for evaluating, assessing, reporting, and improving, their environmental footprint. This idea has been validated through industry experts, leading LCA academicians, and policy makers. The idea has won several prizes and is currently in ‘rapid’ development phase.
